Skinniest Phone in the World

Introduction: Believe it or not, this sexy looking device is the world's skinniest phone. It is designed by Tamer Koseli, who was bornn in Switzerland but now dwells in Turkey. This phone is called the "NEED". It doesn't have a camera function and cannot play mp3 files as songs. However, its interface uses touchscreen function. You can roll down the screen to see the bottom or upper menus of the screen. You can also write with magnetic pen the numbers you want to call and dial. Although it might lack fancy functions other phones might have, it has a sexy design unbearable with spec of width 2cm, length 14cm, and thickness of 0.5cm.
Uniqueness in the Market: There are many models of phone with many different functions. For example, camera phone, mp3 phone, and etc. The setbacks of these items are that although it has many useful functions, they do not overcome the abilities in functions than regualr digital camera, mp3 sound quality, and etc. Then, why not just go back to the old purpose of phone's use? People are more aware of design as they tend to be more expressive in their appearance. The clothes they wear, perfumes they put on, shoes they wear, jewelry they put on, and etc. This "NEED" phone is just screaming uniqueness. Imgine typing your own numbers to dial. Isn't that a fun concept with easy access? It really seems like a hit item.
Target Group: It seems that people of younger age would most likely to consume this item. People up to late 20s or early 30s seem like the most preferrable target group. However, you can color them according to older consumer's preferance; you can also distinguish the color to target certain sub-targets. For example, Gold- Luxury for the older generation, Grey- for more grave business men, Hot Pink- for youthful ladies, Dark Blue- for youthful guys, and etc. The design is a very important factor that sells the item, however, it seems very feasible that one might invest in the R&D of this product to have multi-purpose functions. Then it just might be the next iPod of the phone industry.
